Privacy Policy

Effective September 20, 2026

This policy explains how the CHS Schedule Tool mobile app and the website at chsschedule.com handle information.

Information stored by the mobile app

The app does not require an account. Class names you enter, reminder preferences, and a cached copy of public special-day schedule information are stored on your device. Class names and reminder preferences are used by the app, its widgets, and optional scheduled notifications. They are not sent to us.

Public schedule data

The app requests public special-day schedule information from a published Google Sheet over HTTPS. Your device connects to Google to retrieve that information. Google may process technical connection information, such as an IP address, under Google's Privacy Policy. The app does not send your class names or reminder choices with that request.

Analytics, advertising, and website visits

The mobile app does not contain advertising or analytics SDKs and does not use behavioral tracking. The chsschedule.com website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites, which provides aggregate traffic metrics such as page views and unique visitors. Its hosting service may process technical information needed to serve the website. We do not use those metrics to identify individual visitors.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use them to respond to your request. We keep support messages for up to 12 months after the last message, then delete them unless a longer period is required by law. We do not sell support messages or app settings.

Your choices and deletion

You can change or clear class names and turn off reminders in the app's Settings. You can also disable notification permission in your device settings. Uninstall the app to remove its locally stored app data. To request earlier deletion of a support message, email chsscheduleapp@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app's or website's data practices change. The current version will be posted here with a revised effective date.
